Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies
Weddings & Commitment Ceremonies
Getting married at NSTE is a beautiful and moving experience.
Rabbi Nicole will work with you and your partner to craft a ceremony that both reflects your relationship and upholds Jewish values. She'll also guide you through the Prepare-Enrich program, which helps you identify similarities and differences with your partner that may help or challenge your relationship. Rabbi Nicole also performs same-sex commitment ceremonies.
You may choose to hold your ceremony in the NSTE sanctuary or offsite. We even have a chuppah (Jewish wedding canopy) that you can utilise at offsite venues.
For those who choose to marry in NSTE's large and cheerful sanctuary, we can accomodate up to 250 guests. The air-conditoned space will keep you and your guests comfortable regardless of the weather. Equipped with commercial kitchen, stage for a band, and top-notch sound system, the Valerie Jaye Hall is just next door to host your reception. The Valerie Jaye Hall can seat 100 guests for dinner with a small dance floor or 120 guests with no dance floor. We're happy to have your caterer come by for a look.
We look forward to helping you celebrate your new life together, so call us soon on 9419 7011. Our schedule fills up quickly, so please contact us before you choose a date!

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our synagogue stands, the land of the Gamaragal people. Many of us and our forebears have come from other lands and found our spirit of kinship with Indigenous Australians whose connection with this land preceded ours, and we recognise that connection as sacred and enduring. May we walk together toward a future of justice and healing.
